Celtic and Aalborg are the two strugglers in Group E and both teams will be desperate for the win here. Technically, Celtic can still qualify for the knockout stages as can Aalborg although it also depends on how the other Group E game goes as well.

Celtic have lost their last 10 away Champions League fixtures on the trot but if they lose here then it is all over and they will be handed the wooden spoon along with 4th place. AaB are in the same position, if they lose tonight then they will be confined to the foot of Group E and miss out on the UEFA Cup, so this is a must-win game for both teams.

One thing that is for sure is that both teams will have to step it up a notch after their bore 0-0 draw at Celtic Park on the 17th September.

Celtic have had terrible injury problems of late and the list continues to grow, however, Aiden McGeady will travel with the squad to Aalborg as he has recovered from his recent calf and knee problems and Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink is also included in the Celtic squad.
