Arsenal vs Liverpool Preview

If Arsenal can beat Liverpool today they will go 5 points behind the league leaders instead of 8, but, Liverpool just like Arsenal have beaten the other 2 of the so-called “Big Four” already this season. So, you can imagine just how desperate both sides will be to make it a hat-trick of victories over their main rivals.

Arsenal could see the timely return of Samir Nasri for the visit of Liverpool but the Gunners have doubts over the fitness of Nicklas Bendtner and Kolo Toure.

Liverpool have no fresh injury worries going into the game with Arsenal. Torres will still be an absentee but Fabio Aurelio could return although a start is unlikely.

Arsenal have of course been up and down more times than Russell Brands pants this season but facing teams of Liverpool’s calibre doesn’t seem to faze the young Arsenal stars. Emphatic wins over Chelsea and Man Utd back that up but Liverpool have also been sparkling against the big boys this year.

My money is on Arsenal for the win. Why?
