Aston Villa are currently 3 points behind Everton with 2 games left, taking the 3 points against Wigan today and Arsenal doing them a favour tomorrow by beating Everton will put Martin O’Neils men level of points with the Merseyside club going into the last game of the season. Wigan are currently 5 points clear of the last relegation place and are not mathematically safe for next season, if the results go the wrong way for them today they could be in for a nervous last game of the season next week.
