After a long and hard UEFA Champions League campaign we have finally gotten down to the last two, Barcelona and Manchester United, one match and it is winner takes all.

There aren’t a lot of people out there who would argue the fact that Barcelona and Manchester United are the two best teams in European football right now, Man Utd of course are the current European champions and Barcelona have lit up the European stage this season with their own unique brand of the beautiful game.

Trying to pick a winner between these two European heavyweights can only leave you with a migrane it is so hard to call. It is very hard to look past the beauty with which Barcelona play the game but when you do you eventually manage to, you discover that at the back they are very vulnerable due to their attacking philosophy.

Man Utd on the other hand, while they are also lethal in attack with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney, Carlos Tevez and Dimitar Berbatov – they are a lot stronger than Barcelona when subjected to an attack. This could be the key difference between being champions and being pipped at the last hurdle.

If Barcelona are to beat Manchester United in Rome and win the Champions League then they are going to have to rely on their front men. ie; Messi, Henry and Eto’o. They three will have to be on the top of their game to get the better of that solid Man Utd defence.

My prediction though is that Manchester United will be crowned as European champions. Going forward Manchester United are every bit as good as Barcelona but in defence they are stronger. I can’t see United not scoring against Barcelona in Rome whereas i can fully imagine the United defence managing to keep this Barcelona side at bay.

Score prediction : Barcelona 0 – 1 Man Utd

hahahaha yeahh ritee barcaalona is going to win all the way ok man U is a very strong team but there is no joy of watching football if man u where to win again that is why i would go 4 barca, but i would love to see inter milan or atleast an italian team in the finals but if not then i would prefer barca:D
