Birmingham will host Blackburn today in the final match of the Barclays Premier League season and they must better the result of both Fulham and Reading if they are to survive another year in the top flight of English football. Blackburn won’t be taking it easy against Birmingham today as they themselves are playing for an Intertoto Cup place. Alex McLeish is right up against it today and with Reading facing Derby today, Birmingham look all but set for Championship football next year.
