Blackburn Vs Derby today is a fixture that holds no real purpose for either side with Derby well relegated and Blackburn’s chances of a UEFA Cup spot have now gone. The season is now over for both sides and the only real incentive left is for Derby to try and put an end to their ever increasing run without a win. Paul Jewell is expected to go through a complete overhaul of his squad for next season so the Derby players will have to put on a good show in the remaining 2 games to try and prove their worth to the team, the chances of Derby claiming a victory at Ewood Park today however are very long indeed.
