Blackburn and Portsmouth should be safe now but both will look to make it certain this afternoon. Blackburn might be fancied as the favourites with Portsmouth only managing to win two away matches all season.

Portsmouth are struggling at the back with Glen Johnson and Younes Kaboul major doubts. Noe Pamarot is also suspended but Linvoy Primus has returned from a loan spell and is expected to be slotted straight in at the back.

The problems for Blackburn lie at the other end with something of a striker crisis so once again Chris Samba is expected to start up front with Benni McCarthy.
