Sam Allardyce will take charge of Blackburn for the first time against Stoke this Saturday and it will be interesting to see how the Blackburn fans take to Big Sam’s appointment. Blackburn are currently on an 11 match run without a win in the Premier League and with the club stranded in the relegation zone they need to start winning fast.

Stoke are still searching for their first away win of the season and Ewood Park is a ground they will be confident of winning on at the minute. A victory against Blackburn could see Stoke climb as high as 9th in the league table.

Blackburn will have pretty much a full squad available for Big Sams first game in charge whereas Stoke will be missing Mama Sidibe and Leon Cort.
