Blackburn and Sunderland will play each other for the 2nd time this week after they met mid-week in the Carling Cup, a game which Blackburn won 2-1 so Rovers will have the psychological edge at Ewood Park for this one.

Blackburn, however, haven’t won in the Premiership in their last 6 matches so there is pressure on Paul Inces men here but it is not much better at Sunderland who have lost their last 3 on the trot and Roy Keane has admitted there is pressure on him now.

Blackburn will be missing Benni McCarthy for this one due to a family bereavement but Kenwyne Jones could feature once more for Sunderland up front with Djibril Cisse.
