Chelsea vs Man Utd : Preview.

In a battle between arguably the two main Premier League contenders this season Chelsea will welcome Man Utd to the Bridge in a match not to be missed. Out of the two sides perhaps Chelsea are the team most in form but when you face Man Utd form doesn’t really count for anything.

While it is far too early in the championship race to pick out a clear title winner this match just might give us all a good indication of the side most likely to go all the way this season. The current leaders in the table are Chelsea but a win for Man Utd will see them jump over them into the top position however a win for the home side will see them open up a crucial five point gap over United.

Over the last three years Chelsea have had to sit back and watch as Man Utd have dominated the Premier League but this year there is a real sense that Man Utd are there for the taking and under Ancelotti, Chelsea seem to have recovered the togetherness that they once had under Jose Mourinho.

An away trip to Chelsea is never an easy fixture, even for Man Utd and it won’t be any easier for them with the absence of Rio Ferdinand and Gary Neville. Ferdinand is injured and Neville is suspended. Berbatov and Giggs are both doubts to face Chelsea and will undergo late fitness tests but Nemanja Vidic is almost certain to start at the back for United.

The only injury concern for Chelsea for the visit of Man Utd is that of Jose Bosingwa who is expected to be out for around a month but another than that Chelsea are full strength and look good for the win in this one.
