Croatia feared ahead of the match against Germany that their star midfield playmaker Luka Modric would miss the match against Germany but he has recovered from his injury and will start against the Germans. That was Slaven Bilic’s only injury worry so Croatia have a full squad to choose from. He may still decide to change things around a bit though after Austria caused them constant problems in the 2nd half of their opening Euro 2008 match. Ivan Rakitic is a possible addition to the Croatia attack which may need to be freshened up a little.

Germany on the other hand have no reason to change their side. They were very impressive against Poland in their opening Euro 2008 match and coach Joachim Loew shouldn’t feel the need to change anything.

I am just going to come straight off the bat and say that Germany are going to win this one. Germany are very strong in all departments and have one of the best attacks at Euro 2008 this year. Croatia are struggling up front and i don’t really see them causing Germany enough problems to win the match. Croatia will need Modric to make something happen for them but even with him i think the Germans will be too strong.
