Group 1 has been one of the most surprisinging groups so far especially with how Denmark and Portugal have faired to date. Many believed Portugal would walk the group but it is Denmark who find themselves sitting smartly at the head of Group 1.

Portugal find themselves some way behind Denmark, 7 points to be exact and are looking at qualifying through the playoff rather than automatically however a defeat to Denmark will make even that extremely difficult especially if Hungary (who are currently 4 points ahead of Portugal) manage to beat Sweden.
