One of the teams that are making their debuts in this seasons Champions League are FC Zurich and with Real Madrid playing the part as visitors i’m sure it will be a debut they will never forget no matter what happens.

Probably the most documented team in the world right now it is no secret that Real Madrid have set out all guns blazing this year in an attempt to reclaim the Champions League title.

Having spent £200M+ strengthening the squad over the summer the club is now under pressure to do well this year and an opening match day win in the Champions League is vital for them.

You have to feel sorry for Zurich though having to face such a star studded cast on their opening Champions League venture. They will have to learn quickly but at least they will have the advantage of the home support behind them.

With the embarrassment of stars that Real Madrid have at their disposal it is hard to see Zurich coming away from this one with any points but good luck to them!
