The London derby between Fulham and Tottenham this Boxing day promises a good match with both sides in-form and pushing for the higher spots in the table available this season. The obvious talking point is the Tottenham push for a top four finish however Fulham are looking to prove that their seventh placed finish last season was no fluke.

After last weeks demolishing of the champions Fulham will be high on confidence and will be looking to surprise everyone for the second week running with a victory over Tottenham. Roy Hodgson’s side are currently on a seven match unbeaten run and have lost just a single league game since September. A win for Fulham here will have to make them contenders for a finish in the European places again this season and perhaps even an improvement on last seasons league position of seventh.

Tottenham are looking to break up the top four and book themselves a place in next seasons Champions League so it won’t be easy for Fulham at Craven Cottage this Boxing day to say the least. The free-scoring Tottenham have amassed forty league goals this term so far so the Fulham defence will have to be on red alert.

There are no fresh injury concerns for Tottenham ahead of their trip to Fulham so it is pretty much a full strength squad Harry Redknapp has available to him.

Fulham will hope that midfielder Simon Davies is fit enough to face Tottenham although he remains a doubt while Diomansy Kamara is also pushing for a return after nursing an injury.
