Man City vs Arsenal : Preview

A proper tasty fixture we have with Manchester City and Arsenal this weekend in a game which will see ex Arsenal stars Kolo Toure and Emmanuel Adebayor face their old club.

Emmanuel Adebayor has made a fantastic start to his time as a City player scoring a goal in each of Man City’s 3 premier league matches so far but the last thing the Arsenal faithful will want to see is their former talisman coming back to haunt them.

One man that won’t be featuring in the star studded Man City line up will be Carlos Tevez who is out after injuring his knee in Argentina’s defeat to Brazil last weekend. Incidentally Robinho is also struggling for fitness after being injured in the same match and could also miss out.

It is a similar situation for Arsenal who are almost definitely set to be without Andrei Arshavin who also aggravated an injury while on international duty – he will be a huge loss for Arsenal who won’t want to lose two Premier League matches in a row especially to close league rivals.

It is not all doom and gloom for Arsenal however with Cesc Fabregas returning from his hamstring injury and the long suffering Tomas Rosicky is available again for selection after playing his first match in 20 months for the Czech Republic in midweek.
