Portsmouth Vs Newcastle Premier League Highlights 12th April

Kevin Keegan will be confident going down to Portsmouth today after Newcastle winning their last 3 games on the spin.They will also be looking to get one over on Pompey after they hammered Newcastle 4-1 at St James’ Park earlier on in the season. Portsmouth are in good form themselves though and are still pushing for 5th spot in the League.

Star front man Jermaine Defoe is back for Portsmouth and will be looking to add to his already impressive goal tally for Pompey this season. Lassana Diarra and Milan Baros are doubtful and will be assessed ahead of the game but John Utaka looks certain to miss out with a hamstring injury.

Steven Taylor and Charles N’Zogbia look set to return to Kevin Keegans line up after injury and illness but Shay Given, Claudio Cacapa, James Milner, Stephen Carr and Belozoglu Emre are all still out.
