Ibrox
Thursday 3 April
Kick Off: 19:45 BST

Rangers take on Sporting Lisbon at Ibrox tonight in the first leg of their UEFA Cup Quarter Final tie. Rangers have received a boost ahead of tonight’s clash with news that their midfield anchorman, Brahim Hemdani, is fit after sustaining a groin injury in the CIS Cup Final last month. Hemdani has been a key man for Rangers on the European nights this season and his return will calm Walter Smith. Kevin Thomson and Steven Davis have also been passed fit after knocks they picked up in the Old Firm match with Celtic at the weekend.

However, Rangers will have to be aware of Sporting Lisbon danger man, Liedson, who has returned from an injury and has scored 4 goals in his last 2 league matches. The team who has produced players such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Ricardo Quaresma and Luis Figo will be looking to attack and will no doubt feel they can get something out of this away tie. Read on to watch the hghlights.
