Romania have been completely written off in Group C of Euro 2008 or “The Group Of Death” as is the favoured name given amongst fans but with France suffering something of a mini injury crisis, Romania will feel that France are there for the taking. Romania striker Adrian Mutu certainly feels this way, he is fit to play against France and is confident of his sides chances against the French today. France captain Patrick Vieira is a serious doubt not only for todays match against Romania but for the rest of the tournament after picking up a thigh injury in training. New AC Milan midfielder Matthieu Flamini is on stand-by to replace Viera but losing their captain is a huge blow for the French. Barcelona star Thierry Henry is also a major doubt with a sciatic nerve problem and Franck Ribery is suffering with an ankle problem.
