Sam Allardyce New Blackburn Manager: Premiership News

Sam Allardyce has been appointed as the new Blackburn Rovers manager.
At long last, Big Sam makes a return to management. After almost a year out of the game, Blackburn will inherit a very enthusiastic and eager Allardyce who will be determined to prove himself after his disappointing spell at Newcastle.
I know there will be Rovers fans out there who may be disappointed to hear of the arrival of Big Sam’s tough style of football at Ewood Park but i think this is a great decision from Blackburn. Sam Allardyce is exactly the type of man they needed to bring in this situation. He’ll get the lads fit and get them working their arses off that’s for sure, which is what they will need to do if they are to get out of the relegation zone.
Paul Ince was only sacked yesterday so saying that the board have acted quickly would be a huge understatement! But i think the Blackburn board have done well in this situation, they called for a rapid change and they have delivered.
It will be interesting to see the fans reaction though when Blackburn face Stoke at the weekend. No dis-respect to Stoke but their are a lot harder fixtures Big Sam could have faced on his first game in charge and if all doesn’t go well, you can be sure the Blackburn support will let them know how they feel.
