Sunderland vs Hull City : Preview

Sunderland could have a goalkeeping dilemma with Craig Gordon and Martin Fulop both struggling for fitness so the young Trevor Carson is playing understudy and ready to fill in if needed.

In the transfer window the now ex Hull defender Michael turner moved to Sunderland and he is expected to make his debut against his former club.

During the transfer window Hull also signed Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink and he is expected to make his debut in this match as well.

Hull have won just one of their last 16 away premier league matches so if statistics are anything to go by then it doesn’t bode well for them against Sunderland this weekend.

The last time that Hull manged to beat Sunderland was way back on the 14th April 1990 which incidentally is their only win in their last 11 league visits to Sunderland.
