Tottenham and Wigan will battle it out in the FA Cup this evening. Wigan will be missing a number of key players for the tie with Tottenham including Amr Zaki, Emile Heskey, Chris Kirkland and Lee Catermole.

Tottenham may be tempted to include Adel Taarabt in the starting line-up with a Carling Cup semi-final tie just around the corner and injuries to Jermaine Jenas and Tom Huddlestone.

Harry Redknapp recently described Adel Taarabt as a “genius”.

“If we can get him playing he is a genius,” said Redknapp. “This is a real talent. A match-winner. So I’m sure we’re going to see a bit of him in the next couple of weeks.”
