West Ham v Tottenham – Preview

A real treat for us this Sunday sees West Ham take on Tottenham at Upton Park in a fierce London derby.
You know what you are going to get when West Ham and Tottenham meet and that is two sides desperate to beat each other.

West Ham didn’t play in midweek so they have had a week to rest whereas Tottenham faced Hull and looked very impressive indeed – giving Gianfranco Zola something to fear when they enter Upton Park this Sunday.

Tottenham are expected to make two changes from the side that thrashed Hull with Gomes being replaced in goal after picking up a groin injury and Ledley King to return in at centre back after being rested during the week.

West Ham haven’t won their opening two Premier League matches since 1997. Incidentally they beat Barnsley on the opening weekend and Tottenham on the second. Is the writing on the wall? I’ll leave it to you to make your own mind up.
