Wigan v Manchester United : Preview

After both Wigan and Manchester United got their Premier League campaigns off to good starts last weekend, both lost in their midweek fixtures so both sides will be looking to bounce back at the JJB this Saturday.

After the defeat to Burnley in midweek Man Utd manager Sir Alex Ferguson won’t put up with his side losing two in a row at this early stage of the season and he will expect more from his stars.

Luis Antonio Valencia is expected to start against his old club for United but the jury is still out on Michael Owen and Dimitar Berbatov looks the more likely strike partner for Wayne Rooney up front.

The only worry for Wigan going into their match with United is the fitness of Charles N’Zogbia. The Frenchman is said to be 50/50 whether he will start or not but other than that Wigan are expected to field an unchanged side.
